Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Turn off Hwy 329 onto Mill Cove Shore Rd and you'll find tucked away Mill Cove Beach. A wooden ramp leads you down to the beach which is a mix of sand and pebbles.

Take a swim to cool off or just enjoy the views.
