Our Municipality is located within the Mi'kmaq communities of Wasoqopa'q First Nation and Sipekne'katik First Nation. Made up of charming towns and villages, forested trails, and island-dotted bays—perfect for those seeking both tranquility and adventure.

Hubbards is a picturesque seaside community. Find the world-renowned Shore Club, Nova Scotia's last great dance hall and home of the original lobster supper. You can shop like a local at the Hubbards Farmers' Market every Saturday morning May-October. Enjoy the beaches and coastline along the Aspotogan Peninsula.

Chester is at the center of our Municipality. A picture perfect community known for its historic homes and ties to the ocean. Stroll along tree-lined streets, browse locally owned shops, enjoy a show at the Chester Playhouse, or relax on a patio. Treat yourself at Sensea Spa or take in Chester Race Week, Canada's largest keel boat regatta in August.
Included in the Chester area are the communities of Chester Islands, East Chester, Marriotts Cove, Otter Point, Robinsons Corner.
Chester Basin/Western Shore finish your coastal exploration. More great food, views, and trails. Experience Wasoqopa'q First Nation's Powwow every September. Home of the Curse of Oak Island and the Oak Island Resort.
Included in the Chester Basin/Western Shore area are the communities of Borgels Points, Canaan, Chester Grant, Gold River, Martins Point, Martins River, Middle River, Sherwood, Windsor Road.
New Ross is a short drive inland along Hwy 12 where history comes to life at the Ross Farm Museum, a living, working, farm museum depicting 150 years of agriculture in Nova Scotia. The beautiful views continue from Ruby's Trail.
Included in the New Ross area are the communities of Aldersville, Forties, Franey Corner, Fraxville, Harriston, Lake Ramsay, Leville, New Russell.
