Lordly House Museum

Chester

Step back in time at the Lordly House Museum.

A fine example of Georgian architecture (c 1806). Lordly House was the family home of Charles Lordly, a prominent merchant, an entrepreneur, and the first municipal clerk. The museum showcases historical displays, and houses a local genealogy collection.

The Lordly House Museum works toward promoting and cultivating the unique heritage of different places within the Municipality of the District of Chester. Lordly Park and playground border the museum. Operated by the Chester Municipal Heritage Society.

Open June 10-Sept 15.
