Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Join us on January 25 & 26th for Winter Folic at the Ross Farm Museum. Visit the farm workshop to sample delicious homemade ice cream, and enjoy hot chocolate served around the campfire in the woods. Do not forget to bring your own sledding equipment and have fun on our popular sledding hill, located by the Larder Barn (snow permitting).
