Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Waffle Breakfast at the Chester Basin Fire Department, 5430 Hwy 3 from 8:00 to 11:00 am. Serving waffles with bacon and other delicious toppings! Children are welcome to come in costume to join the firefighters for breakfast. Treat Bags for the children! Cost $6.
