Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Be sure to check out the Ross Farm Barn and the Farm Workshop. Snow conditions permitting, you can also go sliding down Larder Hill. The Hearth Room Café will be open from 9 am to 2 pm in addition to their dinner service from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Reservations are highly recommended.
