Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Turkey Supper at the District #1 Community Centre, Blandford (30 Firehall Rd., Blandford) from 4:30 to 6:00 pm.   Adults $13, Youth (5-12 years) $7 and Children under 5 years are Free.  Includes turkey supper with all the trimmings, dessert, coffee and tea.  Doors open 4:00 pm.  Take-out orders not available until 5:00 pm.  A Saint Barnabas Church fundraising event.
