Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Toboggan & Snowshoe Demonstration Weekend

Join us this weekend for a traditional toboggan and snowshoe-making demonstration in the Farm Workshop. If we have enough snow, we will provide snowshoes for you to try out snowshoeing firsthand. Alternatively, bring your own sledding equipment and go sliding down Larder Hill! Sleigh or wagon rides will be available from 10 AM to 12 PM and again from 2 PM to 4 PM.
