Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Toboggan & Snowshoe Demonstration Weekend

Join us on January 18th and 19th for a demonstration of traditional toboggan and snowshoe making in the workshop.

If we have enough snow, we will provide snowshoes for you to try out snowshoeing firsthand. Alternatively, you can bring your own sledding equipment and slide down Larder Hill!
