Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Teddy Bear Picnic

Teddy Bear Picnic at Lordly Park, Chester from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. All ages (children must be accompanied by an adult). Bring your favourite Teddy Bear and high energy to Lordly Park this Summer! Join the Summer Rec team for a cupcake walk, fun lawn games, face painting, balloon animals and more! We cannot wait to bring back this tradition with even more fun this time around. Hot-dogs and hamburgers will be for sale but feel free to bring your own picnic and nice blanket for you and your Teddy to sit on! There is not a better place to have a picnic than your own beautiful Lordly Park! The Event is FREE, but we will be accepting donations to PRO Kids at the entrance.
