Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Stuff A Bag Challenge – New Ross Neighbours Helping Neighbours at the Golden Age Club, New Ross Fairgrounds from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.  Turkey Bucks; Cash Donations; Food Items; Cleaning Supplies; Personal Care Items and Personal Hygiene Items.  Fill a reusable grocery bag (or 2) and drop it off!  In support of the Lighthouse Food Bank Society.
