About the Municipality of Chester

From Hubbards to Martins River and inland to New Ross and Sherwood, Our Municipality of Chester is the gateway to the South Shore of Nova Scotia.

For ease of exploring we've broken down our Municipality into five main areas.

Located in Kespukwitk (Lands End) district of Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral and traditional lands of the Mi'kmaq people. The Municipality acknowledges the Peace and Friendship Treaties signed and recognizes that we are all Treaty People. We acknowledge the responsibility to deeply engage and move forward with the work of truth, reconciliation, equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.

Snowflake Frenzy CDS Winter Fair at the Chester District School from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Penny Auction, Bounce Castle, Cotton Candy, Plinko, Mini Golf, Snowman Bowling, Cake Walk, Magic Show, Bake Sale, Games, Prizes, Sno-Cones, Hot Chocolate Buffet, Pizza and more! All proceeds will go to the CDS Home and School to help towards resources and events for all the students.
