Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

SING CHOIRS! 19TH ANNUAL EVENING OF CHRISTMAS MUSIC

Sing Choirs! 19th annual evening of Christmas music at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, 54 Regent Street, Chester starting 7:30 pm.  The evening features Chester United Baptist choir, St. Stephen’s Anglican choir, Studio Singers community choir, musicians from St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, Musical Friends youth choir, and audience participation. Admission is free with a pay-what-you-will collection at the door; the donations will go to Chester PRO Kids and Musical Friends.
