Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Seniors Luncheon at the Hubbards Area Lions Club (21 Lions Club Road) starting 12:00 noon. Enjoy turkey pot pie and peach cobbler for dessert. The cost is a donation at the door. 50/50 available.
