SECOND STORY WOMEN'S CENTRE OPEN HOUSE

Second Story Women's Centre will host an open house from 1:00 to 7:00 pm at 18 Dufferin Street, Lunenburg to celebrate International Women's Day.  International Women's Day has been celebrated worldwide since 1911 and is an important opportunity to reflect on the challenges and strengths of women in the past, present, and future. Everyone is welcome to stop in to Second Story Women's Centre any time during the event.  All activities are free of charge.  Coffee, tea, and snacks will be served all day.

Schedule of events: 

1:00 to 5:00 pm Workshops throughout the day:  screen printing for youth, fermentation, a woman's walk & reiki to name a few (see our website or Facebook page closer to event time for further details)
5:00 to 7:00 pm Entertainment: People are invited to enjoy entertainment that celebrates women. (Contact SSWC if you are interested in performing a couple of songs or a reading during this time.)
