Chester Playhouse invites you to join us for a showing of the 2021 Oscar-nominated film West Side Story.

Director Steven Spielberg directs his first musical, a remake of the beloved West Side Story. Love at first sight strikes when young Tony spots Maria at a high school dance in 1957 New York City. Their burgeoning romance helps to fuel the fire between the warring Jets and Sharks -- two rival gangs vying for control of the streets.

Nominated for 7 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, the film stars Ansol Elgort, Rachel Zegler, Ariana DeBose, David Alvarez, and Academy Award winner Rita Moreno.
