Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Roast Pork Supper at the Forties Community Centre, 1787 Forties Road, New Ross from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Enjoy roast pork with gravy, apple sauce, pickles, vegetables, potatoes, dessert, tea/coffee.  Doors open 4:00 pm and serving starts 4:30 pm.  Adults $13, Children (5-12 years) $7 and under 5 years $3.
