About the Municipality of Chester

From Hubbards to Martins River and inland to New Ross and Sherwood, Our Municipality of Chester is the gateway to the South Shore of Nova Scotia.

For ease of exploring we've broken down our Municipality into five main areas.

Located in Kespukwitk (Lands End) district of Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral and traditional lands of the Mi'kmaq people. The Municipality acknowledges the Peace and Friendship Treaties signed and recognizes that we are all Treaty People. Chester Heritage Society Welcomes Spring with a Roast Pork Dinner Take-Away Meal. Enjoy Roast Pork with Red Wine Gravy, Herb Shallot Stuffing, Roasted Vegetables (potatoes, carrots & broccoli). Yorkshire Pudding and French Apple Tart. Chef Prepared by “The Boyz”. Cost per person $45. Pre-pay to CMHS. Deadline to order: Monday, April 13.
