Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Repair Café at St. Luke’s (10 Shore Club Road, Hubbards) from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.  Do you have broken stuff around your house? Don’t throw it away! Bring it to the Repair Café for fixing. Learn from our skilled volunteers. We will try and mend or repair anything you bring! Also offering mini-massages, gardening advice, and bookkeeping help. Free Admission. Repair by Donation.
