About the Municipality of Chester

From Hubbards to Martins River and inland to New Ross and Sherwood, Our Municipality of Chester is the gateway to the South Shore of Nova Scotia.

For ease of exploring we've broken down our Municipality into five main areas.

Located in Kespukwitk (Lands End) district of Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral and traditional lands of the Mi'kmaq people. The Municipality acknowledges the Peace and Friendship Treaties signed and recognizes that we are all Treaty People. We acknowledge the responsibility to deeply engage and move forward with the work of truth, reconciliation, equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.

PRO KIDS FUN DAY FUNDRAISER

PRO Kids Fun Day Fundraiser at Forest Heights Community School from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm for a day of sports and arts for ages 4-11 and parents can come too. Please register but drop-ins are welcome. There will be Face Painting; Music; Canteen, BBQ; Sports; Raffle and Door Prize. 100% of proceeds go to PRO Kids. To register/more info, contact: prokidsfunday19@gmail.com.
