Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

PRO Kids Dollar Auction & Bake Sale

PRO Kids Dollar Auction & Bake Sale Fundraiser at the Chester Area Middle School (204 Duke Street) from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, rain or shine. Dollar Auction - a chance to win a SKY BOX pass to the NS Tattoo on July 1.

(Ten prizes valued at minimum $50 each). Cost $5 for 10 tickets. There will be a Bake Sale (if you would like to donate baked goods to our fundraiser, please call the Rec office 902-275-3490).

NEW THIS YEAR:  we have Curbside Eats Food Truck joining us from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.

We will have Mayfest booklets available. Lots of parking and washrooms. 100% of the proceeds from the Dollar Auction and Bake Sale goes to the Municipality of Chester PRO Kids.
