Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

New Ross Winter Family Fun Day at the New Ross Fair Grounds (5032 Hwy 12) from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. There will be Skating, Music, Food and Good Times. 4H BBQ – Free Hot Dogs, Raffles, Free Hot Chocolate, and Sweet Betty’s Streetside Bites Special Cupcakes. Hosted by the New Ross Rink Committee. All goodwill offerings welcome. Funds raised go to the Scholarship Fund in Memory of Konnor Corkum-Millett.
