Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

The New Ross Legion Invites you to Celebrate CANADA DAY.  Opening Ceremony 4:00 pm followed by local musicians.  Music by “The Barkhouse Boyz” from 7:00 to 10:00 pm.  At 10:15 pm, Fireworks in the field behind the Post Office.  Raindate for Fireworks is July 2, same time.  Face Painting and Fishpond for the Children.  BBQ Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, along with refreshments, and Cotton Candy are available to purchase.  Cake is Free for everyone.  The Legion will be open from 4:00 to 10:00 pm, including the bar.  Come and enjoy Canada Day in the Greatest Country in the World.
