Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

A community yard sale and small business pop-up shop event from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

We have been encourging locals to setup in their front yards all along the #3 highway. That said, all communities are welcome to particiapte.

The Nor'easter Apparel fashion truck will be participating with new items and sale racks. Pam Stevenson Jewellery will also be participating with her pop up shop.
