Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Lost in the 50’s Show & Dance at the Chester Legion starting 7:00 pm.  Our neighbours who turned 80 in 2020 didn't get a proper celebration. So, let's have a community celebration for their birthday, just a little late. Tickets $15 advance, $20 door; available at Legion bar, or through Erin, gore275@eastlink.ca.  If you were born in 1940, you get in free!!! Message me on Facebook or email to reserve your ticket.
