About the Municipality of Chester

From Hubbards to Martins River and inland to New Ross and Sherwood, Our Municipality of Chester is the gateway to the South Shore of Nova Scotia.

For ease of exploring we've broken down our Municipality into five main areas.

Located in Kespukwitk (Lands End) district of Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral and traditional lands of the Mi'kmaq people. The Municipality acknowledges the Peace and Friendship Treaties signed and recognizes that we are all Treaty People. We acknowledge the responsibility to deeply engage and move forward with the work of truth, reconciliation, equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.

Join us at Chester Art Centre for an evening with a quartet from LAMP 🎻 Experience live chamber music in an intimate setting that brings our spring show 'Regeneratio' to life— Enjoy CAC in a way you haven't seen before.

This is a very limited seating, intimate event. There will be a war bar with beverages for purchase - All ticket sales will be split between CAC and Lamp.
