Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Kohl Canon Supper at St. John’s Church, Chester Basin from 4:30 to 6:30 pm.  Enjoy baked beans, ham, rolls, apple crisp for dessert.  Adults $10, Children (5-13 years) $3 and under 5 years are free.  Take-outs available.
