About the Municipality of Chester

From Hubbards to Martins River and inland to New Ross and Sherwood, Our Municipality of Chester is the gateway to the South Shore of Nova Scotia.

For ease of exploring we've broken down our Municipality into five main areas.

Located in Kespukwitk (Lands End) district of Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral and traditional lands of the Mi'kmaq people. The Municipality acknowledges the Peace and Friendship Treaties signed and recognizes that we are all Treaty People. We acknowledge the responsibility to deeply engage and move forward with the work of truth, reconciliation, equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.

Hubbards ATV Club WINTER POKER RUN – registration from 8:30 to 10:30 am. There will be food available at the Club House (Exit 6, 103 Hwy, take Mill Lake Road, follow the signs). Registration $20. The run ends at 5:00 pm, must be at the Club before then to possibly win. All NS OHV regulations apply. Side x Side friendly (66 inches max).
