About the Municipality of Chester

From Hubbards to Martins River and inland to New Ross and Sherwood, Our Municipality of Chester is the gateway to the South Shore of Nova Scotia.

For ease of exploring we've broken down our Municipality into five main areas.

Located in Kespukwitk (Lands End) district of Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral and traditional lands of the Mi'kmaq people. The Municipality acknowledges the Peace and Friendship Treaties signed and recognizes that we are all Treaty People. We acknowledge the responsibility to deeply engage and move forward with the work of truth, reconciliation, equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.

Hubbards & Area Business Association Casino Night at Black Harbour Distillers from 6:30 pm to midnight. Enjoy a fun evening of chance with HABA & BHD. Blackjack, Roulette, Crown & Anchor and more. Tickets are $30 each and include $250 Play Money. Tickets are available at the Aspotogan Heritage Trust and Black Harobur Distiller and cash only.
