FREE WORKSHOP WITH JEANETTE POIRIER

FREE Workshop: Finding Food and Medicine in Field and Forest at the Rural Roots Market (Ross Farm Museum) from 2:30 to 4:30 pm.  Jeanette Poirier is a semi-retired herbal practitioner living in Parkdale.  She is a founding member of the Herbalist Association of Nova Scotia (HANS).  Walk with Jeanette and explore with her some edible and medicinal plant treasurers found all around you, and around Ross Farm Museum.  We will talk about how to identify, harvest, and use some of these plants, and make a tea, if time allows.  For more info call Carol 902-209-3638.
