Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Chester Garden Club Flower Show & Tea “The Islands of Mahone Bay” at the Chester Legion, 14 Union Street from 1:30 to 5:00 pm. Tea served from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
