Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Firefighters’ Mayfest Breakfast & Bake Sale at the New Ross Firehall from 7:30 to 10:00 am.  Enjoy eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, pancakes, juice, tea, coffee.  Adults $10, Children (Ages 5-12) $5 and Pre-schoolers are FREE.  Anyone wishing to make a donation for baked goods or who would like to donate some time to help at breakfast, please call Linda 902-689-2477 or Janice 902-689-2018.  Your support is greatly appreciated.
