Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Father’s Day Supper at the Forties Community Centre, 1787 Forties Road, New Ross.  Doors open 4:00 pm.  Serving 4:30 to 6:00 pm.  Enjoy roast beef dinner, coleslaw, vegetables, potatoes & gravy, dessert, tea & coffee.  Adults $13, Children (5-12 years) $7 and Children under 5 years are $3.
