Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Fall Fair at the Chester United Baptist Church, 84 King Street from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.  Lots of gift giving items for Christmas and year-round.  Knitted Goods, Handmade Soap, Sewn Garments, Bake Table, Hand Painted Glassware, Stocking Stuffers, Face & Body Pure Emu Oils (unscented & natural).  Canteen available.  Free admission!  Sponsored by the Christian Education Committee.
