Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

An Evening with Valdy at the Black Point & Area Community Centre starting 7:00 pm.  Tickets are $30 each (cash only) and are available at Aspotogan Heritage Trust and Lola’s Landing. Did you know that all net proceeds from the event and bar sales, will be donated to the Hubbards Area Lions Club “Raise the Roof Campaign”.  Also, we will have a Special Guest: Doris Mason.
