Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Dinner Theatre “Have A Little Faith” at the Forties Community Centre, 1787 Forties Road, New Ross to support the New Ross Fire Department.  Doors open 5:30 pm.  Social 6:00 pm with show starting 6:30 pm.  Featuring the Accidental Actors.  Tickets $25 per person for everyone 19 years and older.  Tickets available at the New Ross Credit Union and the New Ross Home Hardware.  Menu:  appetizer, chicken leg dinner with all the fixins’, dessert, tea & coffee.  Limited amount of tickets will be sold.
