About the Municipality of Chester

From Hubbards to Martins River and inland to New Ross and Sherwood, Our Municipality of Chester is the gateway to the South Shore of Nova Scotia.

For ease of exploring we've broken down our Municipality into five main areas.

Located in Kespukwitk (Lands End) district of Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral and traditional lands of the Mi'kmaq people. The Municipality acknowledges the Peace and Friendship Treaties signed and recognizes that we are all Treaty People. We acknowledge the responsibility to deeply engage and move forward with the work of truth, reconciliation, equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.

Dance with the band “Usual Suspects” at the District #1 Community Centre, Blandford (30 Firehall Road) from 9:00 pm to 1:00 am. Tickets $15 each in advance or $20 each at the door. To purchase tickets, send etransfer to: blandfordns@gmail.com and in the memo section put your name, phone number and # of tickets. Tickets available at 360 Automotive (cash) or from a Board Member (cash) or contact Wendy Chase 902-980-0012. Must be 19 years or older.
