Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Corned Beef & Cabbage Supper at the District #1 Community Centre, Blandford (30 Firehall Road) from 4:30 to 6:00 pm.  Enjoy corned beef, cabbage, turnip, carrots, potatoes, rolls & dessert.  Cost $16 cash only, pay at the door.  Kids under 10 years $10 and under 3 years are FREE.  There will be 50/50 draw at the door.
