Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Breakfast at the District #1 Community Centre, Blandford (30 Firehall Road) from 9:00 to 11:00 am. Eat-in or Take-out. Enjoy eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, beans, hashbrowns, coffee, tea, and juice. Adults $10 (cash or debit, pay at the door), kids under 10 years $5 and under 3 years are FREE.
