About the Municipality of Chester

From Hubbards to Martins River and inland to New Ross and Sherwood, Our Municipality of Chester is the gateway to the South Shore of Nova Scotia.

For ease of exploring we've broken down our Municipality into five main areas.

Located in Kespukwitk (Lands End) district of Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral and traditional lands of the Mi'kmaq people. The Municipality acknowledges the Peace and Friendship Treaties signed and recognizes that we are all Treaty People. We acknowledge the responsibility to deeply engage and move forward with the work of truth, reconciliation, equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.

Community Centre Breakfast Eat-in or Take-Out at the District #1 Community Centre, Blandford (30 Firehall Road) from 9:00 to 11:00 am. Enjoy eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, beans, hashbrowns, coffee, tea & juice. Cost $12 (cash or debit, pay at the door), Kids (under 10 years) $5 and under 3 years are FREE. There will be 50/50 tickets for sale! Fundraiser Cookbooks for sale! ($20). This is a District #1 Community Centre Fundraiser.
