Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Cod Fish Supper drive through takeout at the District #1 Community Centre, Blandford from 4:30 to 6:00 pm.  Enjoy salt codfish, potatoes, scruncheons, onions, turnips, roll, pickles & dessert.  Cost $15 per meal.  Reservation required by calling 902-228-2668 by Tuesday, October 20.
