Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Christmas Festival Turkey Dinner at the Forties Community Centre, 1787 Forties Road, New Ross from 12:00 to 2:00 pm and 3:00 to 4:30 pm on both days. Enjoy turkey dinner with all the fixings, dessert, tea & coffee. Adults $17, Children (5-12 years) $7.50 and Children under 5 years $3.50. Eat-in or Take-out. Fully accessible facility.
