Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Christmas Craft Show at the Hubbards Area Lions Club (21 Lions Road, Fox Point) from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Admission by donation at the door. There will be a 50/50 Draw, Door Prize and Canteen open. Proceeds from this event are going to help support the Lions Club’s Christmas Hamper Program.
