Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Christmas Craft Fair at Grace Anglican Church, 5533 Highway #3, Chester Basin, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Free admission. Vendors and crafters including Epicure, quilts, jewellery, ceramics, Tupperware, cards, sewing, woodwork, Party Lites, soup mixes, bake table, and more. Canteen available.
