Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Christmas Bazaar at the District #1 Community Centre, 30 Firehall Road, Blandford from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. Free Admission! Lunch is available: chili or soup, dessert, coffee and tea. Adults $8, Children (6-12 years) $5 and 5 and under are free. There will be a bake table, handwork table, country store, books and more. Sponsored by the St. Barnabas Ladies Guild.
