Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Located in Kespukwitk (Lands End) district of Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral and traditional lands of the Mi'kmaq people. Christmas Bazaar at the District #1 Community Centre, Blandford from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. This is a Free Event. There will be a bake table, handwork, raffle basket, books, guess the weight of the cake contest. Lunch will be take-out only and includes soup, roll, and dessert. Cost $10. Covid protocols are in effect and you will be required to show Proof of Vaccine. Sponsored by the St. Barnabas Ladies Guild.
