Chester Playhouse presents…Reeny Smith at the Chester United Baptist Church (84 King Street) starting 7:30 pm.  A singer, songwriter, musician, and producer, Reeny Smith is a powerhouse on the stage and in the studio. After the release of her 2016 EP ‘I Am Reeny’, she went on to win Music Nova Scotia’s African Canadian Artist of the Year in 2016, 2017, and 2018. She has collaborated with emcee Quake Matthews and opened for Anderson Paak at the 2017 Halifax Jazz Festival. With roots in gospel, and a contemporary sound incorporating R&B and Jazz, her extraordinary vocals, confident stage presence, and energetic live performance make for a truly unforgettable, entertaining experience.
