Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Chester Playhouse presents…Chester Drama Society: Shorts & Suites at St. Stephen’s Church, 60 Regent Street, Chester starting 7:30 pm.  Shorts & Suites consists of five ten-minute long shows (two plays, three musicals), directed and performed by local community members and familiar faces. One play feature Claudette Sapp in La Sagouine, while another is a Malcolm Callaway original.
