Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

Chester Playhouse presents…TIDAL WOMEN, produced by Other Women Theatre Collective– A collaborative production by Laurel Darnell, Sue Evans and Cynthia Myers. Voyage with Tidal Women, a theatre performance with music, poetry and memoirs of three women from very different times and places, who made a life by the sea. In Tidal Women three strong narratives intertwine and explore the lives of women who express their fears, frustrations and joys through writing.
