Wildfire Prevention Measures – Restrictions on Activities in the Woods.

Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires. Restrictions are in place as of August 5 at 4pm until October 15, or until the Province lifts the restrictions. There is a $25,000 fine for violating these restrictions.

PLEASE NOTE LOCATION CHANGE FOR FRIDAY, JULY 28 CHESTER FARMERS’ & ARTISANS MARKET:   
Due to the heavy volume of traffic on Hwy #3, the Chester Farmers' & Artisan Market will take place this Friday at Church Memorial Park near the Rink and Community Garden. (This was where it was held during Covid) 190 Pig Loop Road, Chester.  Safety is our priority for our customers and vendors. So please be patient with this last-minute change. We will decide next week about where the market will be held.
